Furrocious Murray
Murray has become obsessed with Mike's office.
Not for its intoxicating odor of daily methane deposits (thanks to Mike) or its amazing decor (thanks to me), but because there are birds outside his window and a bookcase below the window from which to watch them.
His usual habit has been to perch on the bookcase and meow at the birds while swishing his tail. Occasionally, he lunges at the window.
The birds have taken notice.
Apparently, he is a threat. (They have a nest in the tree in front of our house. I'd say "in our front yard", but the area nowhere near qualifies for such nomenclature.)
Now, they cackle loudly and dive bomb the window, pulling up at the last moment. The effect has been terrifying for poor Murr, who now jumps from the bookcase when they swoop.
Yet, his furry ass is always jumping back up for more.
Aah, beasts. Bless them for entertaining us.
