Everybody should know:
1. I am leaving to go to my Grandfather's on Monday. He lives on the Arizona side of the Colorado River, which means I will be riding on a boat, driving trucks and old-ass Jeeps, laying around in the sun, arguing with various extended family members, reading, knitting, etc. for the next two weeks. And, unless I find some wireless to steal, I won't be online. I will also be in Texas for my cousin's 30th birthday party, which makes me feel super old even though my eldest brother is 31.
2. I will gladly and lovingly send each and every one of you a postcard, if you provide me with your address by the time I get offline Sunday night.
3. Harry and the Potters are playing a show with Draco and the Malfoys on Sunday, August 13th at the Fayetteville Public Library, and you're an idiot if you're not there. Nothing personal.
