Tonight my old church youth group got together, since most of us don't keep good track of the others, and we haven't all been together in years. It was crazy cool seeing everybody, and crazy weird watching old videos. Not only were we hyper, insane, and complete dorks, but it was strange seeing my 14-year-old self hanging out with a 14-year-old Jed and a 14-year-old Jessica.
Amusing/disturing conversation:
Ellen: "Jessica, do you have a boyfriend?"
Jessica: "Nope."
Ellen: "Tessa, what about you?"
Jerri: "We all know Tessa has a boyfriend!"
Everyone else: "Yeah!"
Ellen: "I wasn't informed of this!"
Tessa: "It's been almost a year."
Ellen: *Jaw drops*
Jerri: "And it isn't Jed!"
Ellen: "Wow."
Jerri: "Isn't there a picture of him on your MySpace?"
Tessa: *Confused* "No."
Jerri: "There isn't a picture of him on your MySpace?"
Tessa: "No..."
Jerri: "Who's that guy on your MySpace?"
Tessa: "I don't have pictures of anyone but myself on MySpace."
Jerri: "He doesn't have a MySpace site?"
Tessa: "No."
Jerri: "Then who's that guy on your MySpace?"
Tessa: "What guy?"
Jerri: "Some guy who left you a note."
Tessa: "Oh-Greg."
Jerri: "Who's Greg?"
Tessa: "Jared's roommate."
Jerri: "His roommate!"
Tessa: "Yeah, Jared's roommate is one of my bestest friends."
Jerri: *Laughter* "I bet."
*Everyone starts talking about me flirting around, etc.*
Tessa: "No, trust me."
*No one listens to me*
Tessa: "He's gay!"
*Still no one listening to me*
*Several small children are running around, screaming*
Dan: "This place is a looney bin!"
*Next to me, Leslie drops the Dr. Pepper lid into the drink she's pouring.*
Also, I saw a video of Jed stating that he wanted a hamburger. (For those who don't get that, Jed became a vegetarian not long after the video was taped, and is still one now.)

"RUN FAT BOY, RUN!" -Ben, imitating our Youth Director's father, on a video from August 2000
"Did you graduate from High School?"-Helena, to a truck driver
"Radishes." (Prounounced with accent)
