So I'm not voting today.
And it *pisses* me off. Early voting started two days after we left Texas. So we couldn't do that. We did however order the forms to register for absentee voting before we left. We couldn't fill them out because we didn't have an address. But we forgot to bring them. Got new ones once we got here and faxed them over on the 27th. We still haven't gotten our actual absentee ballot. I called and they said it was mailed on the 30th. Did I mention that the ballots have to be returned by 7pm *tonight*. aaaaaargh!!!! So yeah, I'm pissed. A little at myself for not making sure that we had the applications when we left, but it would've only given us an extra week. And considering the morons in the voting department are too stupid to figure out that 3 days isn't enough time to receive and return the ballot, I don't know if it would've made a difference.
