I have one more weekend left in this series. It's been nearly two months since I've had an unscheduled weekend, and it's beginning to take its toll.

June 5-7 Bachelorette party for Drillbit in New Orleans
May 29-32 My dad's 70th birthday at the ranch
May 22-25 Burning Flipside in Dripping Springs, TX
May 15-17 My birthday in Austin and the ranch.
May 8-9 Art Car Parade
May 1-3 recovery weekend from surgery.
April 24-26 recovery weekend from surgery
April 17-19 in the hospital
April 10-12 Easter at the ranch
April 3-5 Antique weekend at the ranch.
Prior to that, Graham was in Dallas for three weeks. It's been a very long time since Graham and I have had a weekend to ourselves with no obligations or plans. After the reunion, we have two weeks off and then we're going to New York for Drillbit's wedding, and then we have another wedding for Graham's sister in Cleveland in early August. That May 1-3 weekend we were supposed to visit Graham's mother in Wisconsin, but things got screwed up with my surgery. We definitely have to reschedule that for this summer sometime.
The bachelorette party was a lot of fun. I hadn't been to New Orleans since the Bronzer weekend in 2005. My favorite two places were the Carousel Bar in the Hotel Moteleone (more info here) and Dante's Kitchen. The atmosphere in the fomer was fantastic, and the food in the latter was to die for.
