Insanity
It's been one of those crazy, crazy weeks.
I had a board meeting on Monday that lasted until about 8:00, I have a board meeting tonight that's scheduled to go to 9:00. I am supposed to be on a bus tomorrow at 7:00 am to go to Austin for Planned Parenthood Lobby Day, and I'm not expected to be back in Houston until rather late. I'm missing another meeting tonight because of the conflict, and I've had to do a lot of the pre-work for that meeting so everyone is on track and doesn't really notice my absence (much).
On top of that, I had six thirty workouts on Monday and this morning, and I had a spin class last night. Because I'll miss my scheduled workout tomorrow, I'm going to the 5:30 am bootcamp instead, ducking out 15 minutes early so I can make the 7:00 bus.
And on top of that, work has been insanely busy. I sifted through something like 2500 e-mails for a project on Thursday, Friday and Monday, and yesterday I had a meeting with site visitors for a very important accreditation.
I have Friday off, so as soon as I come home tomorrow, I'll have made it through this ridiculous week. And then Graham and I and the dogs will go up to the ranch for the weekend, taking off for Austin on Saturday to participate in the Grilled Cheese Invitational (the location has been announced).
