Happy New Years!
Until this morning, I had no plans. My sister Claudia is in Puerto Vallarta with an Italian film crew (don't ask). My parents are going to the ranch to host a party with their friends. Liv's back in California, and a variety of other people aren't around or are working. My brother's party sounded like it was going to be for him to go on the prowl (he says that three of the last five new years have been lucky for him).
But this morning he called and it sounds like his other party fell through, so he's having a dinner party at my parents' house. It should be a fun group of people, and my parents will have a great view of the fireworks. Low key, but fun at the same time. Good times to be had by all.
Plans tomorrow include movies, more movies and yet even more movies. I plan on buying a ticket and not leaving the theater all day.
