I adore my front-loading washer and dryer (which, for bonus points, live in a closet in my bedroom). Although, word of warning: mine claim to be stackable, but it didn't work out so well in practice. The washer vibrated too much, and didn't like having the dryer sitting on it while it did so. The boys ended up building a shelf for the dryer to sit on, and now everybody's happy.
