Unscripted TV
I'm terribly excited. Neil Diamond is coming to town!! Poor Graham will probably be subjected to lame, sequins and Sweet Carolines as I drag him to see my first musical crush in October.
I think that we were a casualty of the writers' strike. With the exception of BSG and (while it was running) Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles, we don't watch any episodic television. Our Tivo is directed to record stuff like Dirty Jobs and Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations and John Adams. Our TV probably spends more time on the Discovery Channel than anywhere else. I've recently decided we're watching The Alaska Experiment after watching part of the first episode two days ago, and Graham's tagged us to watch The Deadliest Catch. The Tivo still records The Office and South Park but I haven't seen any of those episodes since the strike ended. I suspect I'll eventually either watch them in one fell swoop or delete them.
