I just crossed the $200 threshhold for the Obama campaign. I'm sort of averaging about $50 a month, and I just sent in another $25.
I didn't want to listen to the news this morning or read a hundred blog posts analyzing the whole thing. I just wanted to move on to the next big thing. Funny how after all the build up, you just look ahead after it's all said and done.
I'd like this campaign to be over soon. I don't think it will be, but I'd like to be able to take a rest, to start working on bringing the party back together again. I'd like to stop having to defend my feminism because I'm not supporting Hillary Clinton. I'd like to start working on John McCain.
But, instead, I soldier on and give another $25, and start rooting for Indiana and North Carolina.
