Attention those who plan meetings in Austin
Please consult the Southwest Airlines schedule of flights coming in from Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and any other cities where you have attendees coming in before setting the time. I had to get up at the ass-crack of dawn, make a 6:55 am flight, sit on my ass in Austin for two hours, attend a two hour meeting, and then haul ass to the airport to make the 12:55 flight back to Houston.
In other news, I am at the Bs in my quest to rip all of my CDs and put them on my new harddrive. Bush's Sixteen Stone is in the player right now, soon to be followed by David Byrne's uh-oh. As of right now, I have 7049 songs in my iTunes library taking up not even a tenth of my new harddrive.
In other other news, this weekend was absotutely beautiful. And I've managed to play my cards so for the first three weeks of 2006, I only have to go to work four days. New Year's vacation last week, meeting in Austin this week, MLK day next week. Yay me!
Speaking of next week, if ya'll are in Houston, and maanage to remember, go root on the marathoners. Jose is running his first, and we're still working on something distinctive for him to wear so ya'll can yell and cheer at the top of your lungs for him as he passes you by.
