Visitor from another home

Zapata was disinvited to a dinner party at my parents' house tonight, so he's here hanging out with my pooches.

I found him here after going to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I knew, going in, that it was written by Charlie Kaufman and it starred Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet. I'd heard that it was good, I liked all three of the above, and I had a vague notion that it had to do with memory. Other than that, I went in blind, having only glanced at rottentomatoes to get a sense of what the general reaction from the reviewers was. Excellent film. I've seen everything that Kaufman has written, except for Human Nature, and I was expecting something bitterly ironic, but this was touchingly romantic and amazingly intense. The performances by Carrey and Winslet were amazing. They complemented each other perfectly, and they demonstrated beautifully the highs and lows of this particular relationship. At one point, Carrey's character says "I could die right now. I'm so happy." and you felt the same way or at least wished feverently that you could experience the feeling that very moment. One of the things that I found rather remarkable about the film was that it made total sense, even with some of the convolutions of the plot. I wasn't confused or distracted. I understood what was going on, and I really enjoyed what I understood.

It's raining here, and the pooches are barking at the big earth mover in front of my house. I sort of am thinking about organizing photographs, because I haven't done that in awhile. I really need to have digital photographs printed, since I've never really gotten around to doing that. I have a full year of digital photos that could be printed. I don't actually have any physical pictures of Crianza, because all of her pictures were taken with my digital camera.
