Whew!

Come to find out, that DPWorld is handing over the US terminals in the deal to an American firm. Dubai Air may still have cancelled it's order for 40+ 777s. The US Navy still has use, and control, of their section of the port of Dubai. UAE's royal family is still interested in our being able to use their country for Patriot Missle batteries to cover the Strait of Hormuz. That being the case, US Marines from UAE to invade and take over the three islands in the Strait of Hormuz is still a possibility. That, coupled with US Cruisers in the Strait will help keep the oil tankers frowing, and reduce the risk of Iranian silkworm missles sinking them. Which would cause the oil prices to Skyrocket! Looks like we dodged a big one here, and things are better than they were looking like they would be. But that is only because the UAE fucking rocks! And that country is still intent on being our friend and ally, and buying our shit. I have never personally been there, but from everyone I talked to who has, from my father, friends that were in the USMC and USN, and my cousin who was stationed there as part of the USAF, all love the place. They ALL were all for the deal to go through.

Democrats thinking that this is just a major rift in the Republican party, must think again. We can have these little tiffs, and disagreements on issues. Because we remain united on our core beliefs and issues. Democrats have no such core beliefs. Not any that are readily shown anyway. They are a confederation of totally different groups and peoples with nothing in common except for a hatred of anything to do with the Republican Party. There are a few Democrats out there who really do kick ass. Zell Miller for instance, Joseph Lieberman, And Rod Smith here in Florida. All three have firm ideals, stand by them, and are ACTUALLY WORKING FOR AMERICAS INTERESTS!!!!!!!! All three are willing to put party and political gain aside for America. Hell......If Zell Miller ran for President instead of John "flip-flop" Kerry, who, by the way, served in Vietnam once, I would have voted for him. I am actually thinking of voting for Rod Smith for Gov. of FL! I know. I know. Shock upon shocks. I am just tired of Our Republican Representatives and Senators breaking all their promisses to us when they get to Washington. I am still a Republican/Conservative/Militarist at heart and soul. But I will also vote for someone who I think will actually serve my country's, State's, and Family's interest the best. And if that just happens to be a DINO Democrat, than so be it. I will still look to my own party first though. As will the rest of the Republicans in the country. Sorry Democrats. If you are sitting ringside, have your beer opened, and your popcorn poped, while expecting to see the Republican Party implode, get your money back. We shall survive this as we survived everything else you have thrown at us. From things as small as character assassination, to an outright civil war. We suck it up, ruck up, lock, load, and drive on.

I STILL However think those Rep's and Sen's that voted against the best interests of American business, industry, and our clossest Arab ally, need to be recalled. I'll bet you all a ten dollar bill to a plug nickle that half the damn Congress had NO idea about ANYTHING going on in the deal. I'll bet you another ten against that same plug nickle that the other half knew everything was green, and voted against it anyway for whatever political reason. The democrats were against it because it delt favorably with an ally other than France. The DNC has unfortunatly set itself up as gaining when America fails. That is why I'll continue to look to the RNC first. I can understand why the DNC was against it. It's an election year, and they needed evidence that they were tough on security. So they chose the least threatening thing to America, and rattled their plastic sabers. The media picked it up, ran with it, and Americans ran screaming to the hills. The Republicans in Congress Beet them to the punch however, and took that issue away from them. Now the Dems have nothing Security wise on which to stand. A short term political advantage. HOWEVER Those self same Republican Congressmen handed their President a VERY bad defeat, at a VERY bad time, against a VERY muchly needed ally. Therefore I think we should recall our congressmen/women. Fire them, and send others willing to do the job we sent them there for in the first place. They need to serve America's interest first, formost, and ALWAYS. Not screw us all over in a vain attempt at political one-upsmanship, and short term, self-serving, victories. Congress made me almost asshamed to be an American/Republican this week.

ALMOST!!!! I love this country more than any allegience to one political party. I love my state more than any allegience to one political party. I love our Constitution more than any allegience to one political party. I am a Texan first, formost, and ALWAYS. I am a USAer second only to that. I look at my countries flag, waving in the breeze up top a pole, and I still get duck pimples! Something horrendous happening, like Al Gore being elected, or Hilary Clinton for that matter, would make me asshamed of being a USAer. Then I would just call myself a Texan. But until THAT happens, I am a USAer. Long may the Star Spangled Banner wave! May the Gods bless our nation.
