we ate at fogo de chao tonight.
oh.

gawd.
all that meat was amazing, and the desert was to die for (incidentally, i feel like dying from stuffedness). As we're getting our deserts and coffee, I notice former president george bush, barbara bush, and the grandson (son of jeb bush) walk in the emergency exit. Then everybody else noticed in a silent awe. They were two tables away from us, secret service strewn about the restaurant.
As we're getting up to leave, barbara bush and grandson bush are going to the salad bar but I didn't see them because they were behind me, so I got out of my chair and nearly had a collision that may well have resulted in me being taken into doorless room. Not really, but I was seriously shocked and she waddled on by and I was like "Uhh um uh" (translation: "Sorry, ma'am.").
Weird.
