Time for my yearly update...
HI, I'm alive. Actually, I'm doing great! I never post, and I got nudged, so I figured it is time. I don't know how to cut, so just bear with me.
I've been changing a lot about myself in the last year plus. I've now definetly conquered being a non smoker, and I don't really drink that often either, which is probably a good thing. I've lost 50 pounds so far this year, and am going to the gym regularly. I'm in love with the gym. I was on vaca last week, and felt completely icky for not going. I've started to see a change in my body, and it inspires me to go further with it. I want to start biking and rock climbing this year, if it EVER stops snowing. Really, stop snowing please!
I just got back from an amazing week in the east coast! I flew in last Friday and met Bill, who took me through the NY subway system to our hotel in Time's Square. Awesome view. Went to the NY ComicCon, which was a blast. There was a near riot over Robot Chicken, and I got to see Stan Lee, who is a comic book legend. Very Nice. On Sunday, we went to watch Shannon play, and he did amazing! THey all did good, but I was very proud to watch how much he has grown as a performer since the first time I watched him. I don't give him enough credit for what he does and how well he does it. I know he will go as far as he wants to!
On Monday, Shannon and I drove to Maine, stayed the night there, and had steamed clams. We had no idea how to eat them, so the server had to teach us how. I don't think I will have them again. Tuesday, we drove down to Rhode Island, and played in the beach for a couple of hours, then went to New Jersey. We landed right in NY rush hour, and were almost taken out by a semi truck. another 6 inches and our bumber on the rental car would have been gone :(. Got to NJ, and stayed in Ocean City, got a great deal on a king suite at Port-O-Call hotel, right off the boardwalk. WE got up at 5:30 the next morning to watch the sunrise on the beach, then went back to sleep. After we woke up, we went to Rehobeth Beach, DE, and hung out for a couple of hours, then went to DC and stayed with Bill and Charles. Went to Baltimore Aquarium on Thursday, and spraigned my ankle doing some coture posing, which was real embarassing. HObbled back to the taxi, and went back to DC. By that time, my Advil kicked in, so we went to The Mall, and saw all the memorials and monuments. Thank you to Bill for being such a great host! It was great to see you again, and look foward to Chicago. Owen and Dave, I think I want to stay at your place for the comiccon there. Is that cool?
