He's among the leaders in multiple offensive categories and his team, the Oakland A's, is poised to go to the playoffs. If the White Sox were to win the american league wild card, and the A's were to have a better record than the Yankees, the White Sox and A's would play against each other in a delicious first round of the playoffs. Thomas now has 484 career home runs.
