OOC | Retcon
I'm going to cut this for Friday Night Lights Season 3 spoilers. In any case, from this post onwards, anything written by Tim here or by Jason [itwontstopme] will contain Season 3 spoilers.
When I first started writing Tim about a week ago, I didn't actually realise that FNL Season 3 was almost over and there was only going to be 13 episodes in the Season. As it is, no one even knows if it will be renewed for a fourth season but it doesn't matter because episode 3x13 was Tim's last in the series anyway.
SO, a few changes. From now on, this Tim here will encompass all three seasons of his canon. At the beginning of Season 3, he started to date Lyla and was with her for the duration of the Season. In the middle of the Season, he accompanied Jason to New York so he move closer to his son, and said goodbye to him. Upon returning to Dillon, Tim continued to date Lyla and eventually decided to go to college at San Antonia State and Lyla was going to go with him. In the Season finale episode, Lyla decides to go to Vanderbilt instead and inevitably she and Tim part ways when he tells her to go because its what she wants. In this episode, Tim also discovers his brother Billy is going to be a father and hence Tim is going to be an uncle. Tim decides not to go to college now that Lyla isn't going and stay to help run the car workshop business with Billy, but Billy manages to convince him that he has to go to college and better himself. The episode ends there with Tim agreeing and that signs Tim's FNL canon off neatly and leaves him single.
MUSE RETCON: Anything football related Tim, Jason or Sam [supermarketsam] has mentioned since Tim's conception here no longer exists because the football season is actually over according to canon. Sam is an FNL original character, but totally exists in this Tim and Jason's world as a school pal from way back and casual bed partner of Tim's over the years. The football season ended about two weeks ago and the Panthers went to the final but lost by one goal. Tim left his cleats on the football field and walked away, illustrating his decision not to continue to play.
His brother got married a week ago and just prior informed Tim he was going to be an uncle. Tim was over the moon but agreed not to spread the news just yet. Tim and Lyla broke up, and Tim agreed to still go to college.
A few days after this, about the time Sam came into conception as a muse and joined Tim and Jason's world, Jason revealed the issues with Erin and Noah, leading Tim to agree to join Sam on a road trip to Jersey to help Jason. Jason then subsequently told them about Noah not being his and agreed to return to Dillon with them regroup after everything has fallen apart for him. To date, the three of them are on the drive back to Dillon together.
As for Tim, currently he is in the last few months of high school at Dillon High, is no longer on the football team due to his run as Fullback 33 ending and plans to go to college at San Antonio in Texas. That will soon change, however, once they get back to Dillon and anything from now will unfold in RP or prompts. Also, now free of the relationship with Lyla, he has picked up his casual fling with Sam again, though for now they are just friends with benefits.
