Random John thoughts...
Could the man be anymore perfect or talented? Here's one I heard the other day, not realising what it was a prelude to...
Freshman year Mum asked
"What do you want to do when you get outta here?"
I said, "I said well, gee, I'm only thirteen...
But I think I'd like to play my guitar
And be a star"
She said, "That's not an answer you got time to go
Good sense will kick in anytime you know
I'm not worried I'm not worried"
Sophmore year she asked the same old thing
My answer had remained unchanged
I saw her fidget with the phone
She said, "You like computers John
You like computers don't you
I always see you with the computer
You like computers
Maybe you could do something with computers
Yeah wouldn't that be nice
Junior year it's a little more intense
She says, "what do you want to do with your life"
I'm not on the fence I know exactly what I am to be
And I'm only seventeen
She said, "Well all I ask is that you pay attention in class
So if you happen to change your mind in time
You can still go somewhere reputable and do us proud
So I went downstairs and I played guitar loud
Yeah senior year the same old question
She said what do you wanna do
I said play my guitar and sing
Well She said there's no such thing
She said there's no such thing
*guitar synch into No Such Thing*
And he does it so perfectly - it just sounds right, it fits, like that's where it's always been.

Yes, I was supposed to go into the city to buy Matchbox 20 tickets, but I came down with something yesterday, feel like absolute crap today, so decided to go with the 'Net. And if I was nervous before, I'm packing it now...
Fifteen minutes and counting...
OK, got my tickets...not thrilled with them, but I'm going and that's the main thing. Also in the centre section, which is great for me. Front row would have been perfect, but I'll have to settle for front row in the second section. I'm a bit nervous about being in the middle of the floor with chairs for the Box boys, but hey - I'll live.
Off to bed for some warmth and snuggling now...

I've been GIF crazy lately and wanted to share my creations...
John Mayer...how could I not? He's just divine...gifted...lyrically, melodically, musically...
Yes, some may say the second is not as good as the first, but in the second I found a new respect for Trinity and I believe that once the third episode is aired, people will think more of the second. Some of the fight scenes go too long and some of the talking scenes seems endless, but there's not denying that some sequences are just brilliant. Love/hate relationship with those twins, the opening scene and Jada Pinkett Smith's character, Niobi, are just a few highlights.
One of my all-time favourite films, I find that most people either love it or hate it. I'm in the latter group - Baz Luhrmann is a genius.
Excited I am getting...forthcoming tour there is...tickets I have...
...but I'm hoping to expand my "works of art" to something more than several frames with different words on each image. I think I need to train myself in the ways of moviemaker or something to that effect. One of those morphing GIFs would be cool...
