Nice weekend...
Well, I didn't start my long weekend until yesterday morning because I worked on Friday night - great shift with two of my fave boys (Nate and Tom) - but it's been great so far. I went to Manly with Nomi yesterday - I've been pestering her for ages about it because we haven't been in ages. Did the ferry/marvelling at the harbour from a new angle/fish and chips followed by ice-cream thing. Then it was time for some shopping. While I was aiming for new clothes and new CDs, I only got the former. Scored a gorgeous army-style shirt, blue hooded zip and two black tops from Jay Jays, so I was psyched.
Last night we played Scrabble with Nomi and my bro - sounds boring, but it was fun, we always seem to have a good laugh together.
Today was aiming up to be great, but ended on a sour note. I bought a new bag - a South Park one on the way to the game. The day I've been looking forward to for awhile - Rabbitohs vs. my Mighty Melbourne Storm. If you aren't a footy fan, the Bunnies are the worst team in the NRL. They've won one game all season. Up until today. They steam rolled my boys 41-14. I was devastated. So was my brother. Nomi was wearing Jez's old jersey, so she was just ashamed. We went for coffee afterwards and I went to visit my workies - Tull, Nate and Tom.
Like my new GIF? I made it on Friday arvo, but couldn't upload it because it was too big. Made some adjustments and am VERY happy with the outcome. Gotta love X-Men...it was a lot of fun, so I might make some more...
