Growing up
It's amazing how much has changed since I've started this journal. I am now exactly 71 days from graduating with a bachelors of science in Nursing! I am 71 days away from being a nurse! That blows my mind! And now I have a wonderful boyfriend, who somehow puts up with my craziness and still loves me. I finally have someone who I can just be myself with, and it feels so freeing. I can tell him exactly what I'm thinking and he doesn't act like I'm ridiculous for what I've said. He's the first one I've found in a looong time who just doesn't play games, and I love it. And he always lets me know how much he cares about me, even when were arguing. I no longer have to doubt whether he really loves me like I used to do with my other boyfriends, because he proves it on his own all the time.
We went on a road trip to the Grand Canyon and Vegas at Thanksgiving time, after only dating a few weeks. It was amazing. I really didn't think I could sit in a car for 17 hours one way with this boy I barely knew and not go crazy. But somehow were still together, and were planning another trip for this Spring Break. We're going skiing in Colorado and I am so excited!! We leave early Monday morning and were going to drive straight there, I think it's about 13 hours.
And today is my first interview! I have an interview for an ER internship at a hospital in Fort Worth, because I haven't decided if I want to live there or stay in Dallas. So I better go get ready for that!
