Wedding Day.

Nick couldn't believe the day was finally here, his wedding day. That last few days had been insane with his family all coming in, along with Anna's family. Everyone was buzzing around, and the excitement that was in the air near crackled enough you could hear it. He'd spent the night before awake, nervous. Making sure he had everything he needed.

Warrick got the invite, which surprised him and unable to turn down going to his best friend's wedding, even if things were weird for this Nick. So he slipped in, and looked around trying to just blend in unnoticed.

Anna wasn't going to let him get away with that, not when he was, to the best of her knowledge, her husband's best friend.

"Hiding, are we?" she asked.

"I was trying." He laughed softly and smiled. "Was a nice wedding."

"This is my wedding, and I say no one's allowed to hide if I can't." She gestured to her poofy dress with a smile. "I'm glad you came. You talk to Nicky yet?"

"Aw come on you look beautiful." He shoock his head at that. "No. I think I creep him out a little. I don't want to be any strain on him."

She frowned a little. "Maybe it's just me, but I think he'd get over it if you two would talk."

"Think so?" He gave her a small smile. "It's a little strange hearing you died and all."

[det_supergirl]

"I can't imagine. Though, I guess, technically, I've died, too. I flatlined on the operating table for about thirty seconds. I haven't told Nick that," she said, with sudden realisation. "But if I can be friends with another Nick's wife . . ."

"Harper? If so I've met her." He smiled softly and nodded. "She's nice."

"Yeah, Harper. She's nice, but it's a little weird to know someone who's essentially married to the same man you are." She laughed.

"Yeah I can imagine. Okay not really." Warrick just chuckled. "I think she wanted to set me up."

"Oh? With whom?"

[ilikesurprises]

"I have no idea." He smiled softly.

"Catherine would probably object."

[ilikesurprises]

"Why do you think that?" Warrick's brow raised.

[det_supergirl]

Anna shrugged. "Call it womens' intuition."
