It's Christmas, baby!
First of all, thanks to JW, Sydney, and Hannah for my christmas cards.
I can't believe it is already Christmas. I love this time of year because it reminds me of my childhood and all my family and great food at my grandma's but at the same time it is so sad because I miss my grandma and granddaddy so much. I try to not think about it and just think of all the stuff I love about Christmas and all my family that I still have to be with.
So far I've already had three mini Christmas'. Emy and I did our Christmas last Wednesday...she got me the Desperate Housewives game. I went to my daddy's Friday. That was an adventure. There was 17 of us staying the night at my daddy's. That was awesome. We had a lot of fun. My aunt and uncle from Palm Springs were able to come in so it was great to see them. We usually have our Christmas at my granny's house in my hometown so it was a great change of pace and like I said great to that time with everyone.
Saturday night Jen, Hunter and I went to our friend Tiffany's Murder Mystery Birthday dinner. That was a blast. Jen ended up being the killer and Hunter and I were lovers! That was a late night but well worth it!
Sunday, Jen and I went to the mall. We are done shopping but it was hilarious to watch people just run around like crazy trying to get done and herd up their kids. We went to see The Family Stone...great movie but they should warn you of the cry factor. I wasn't expecting to get sad! I spent Sunday night in the kitchen baking cookies for Hunter. All he wanted for Christmas was Peanut Butter/Chocolate Chip cookies so he got 4 dozen...LOL!
Mom, Hunter, Jen and I did our Christmas last night. Mom went overboard as usual. Hunter got Jen and I huge boxes of candy and some candles...he did a great job! Hunter ate about 15 of his cookies within an hour. it makes me sick he doesn't gain an ounce...EVER!
I have to work the next three days. Then it is to my mom's on Friday for Christmas with my daddy's side of the family on Saturday and mom and I are going to finish up our's. Sunday we are heading back to Arlington to have Christmas Dinner at Golden Corral...we figured no point in cooking when we are leaving early Monday morning for 10 days. We are heading to NYC Monday at 6am!!! Jen is coming up on the 30th! I think we are going to try to get to the Today show sometime this trip and we will probably be in the middle of Times Square on New Year's Eve...again!!!! I am so ready to be out of here.
