UTIs suck. That's all. But the medicine that makes your pee day-glo orange is awesome.
So yeah, fever and chills, body aches, nausea, burning, it's a good time for me right now. What in the world is going on with me, it's always something these days. But you know how fantastic you feel the day after an awful headache, or the day after the fever leaves? I think that's how it's going to be for me in a couple of days.
In much more interesting news, it appears we'll fly over the north pole to get to Vietnam. We shave nearly 10 hours off our flight by taking that flight (not just because we go over the north pole), so I think we'll go that way. We'll have one day in Singapore, on the way home I think. And did you know that NYC to Singapore is the longest flight you can take? I think it's an 18 hour flight; somehow we leave on the 21st and get to Hanoi on the 23rd.
We've nearly decided that we're much more interested in the Hanoi/Ha Long Bay part of the country than the Ho Chi Minh/Saigon part, so we'll spend more time in the north. I think we're going to fly into Hanoi, visit visit visit, then take the train down to Saigon, and fly home from there. I'm very excited about it.
Nuttin' else, really. Oh! One more thing. Have you heard Megan Mullally sing "Real Emotional Girl" (written by Randy Newman)? It's incredibly beautiful -- she has an amazing singing voice. Wowie. I think I have a crush on her now.
