'The apocolypse' you say...
So it was raining like fuck-all this morning... I shoulda just called in... But Noooooooooooooooooooo ... I'm a good (read: 'stupid') employee. So I got off the train and proceeded to get completely soaked. Of course, I don't own an umbrella (something I should invest in) and then I got to the blue beetle which was delayed at mineola for about 2 extra hours waiting for the train from NYC... so... after failing - we just went to hofstra...
So I'm sitting here... freezing to death... its all... so cold.... :P
Things are good otherwise - I'm thinking of going down to NJ to see Sean, Austin and Matt this weekend... I think that might work. Next week, I'm gonna play hookie thursday and friday and I'm going to Maryland with Melinda to go see a friend of hers, my friend Tim, and her grand parents, so that'll be fun.
Speaking of Melinda, Things are good. I'm very happy. We're still working through some stuff, but taking it one day at a time for now. Apparently, she dosen't know how I've survived this long without a hoodie or a pair of jeans... so she's gonna fix this problem :)
I'm also looking forward to PAX (note to self - BUY CONVENTION TICKET next time I get paid... I'm an idiot) and Tim and I are putting together some stuff which should be fun...
I'm also thinking of getting a tattoo... It's been on my mind a bit lately.... I thought about the various things I might get the the placement so it wouldn't be obvious... As far as what I'd get, I've thought about:
A picture of the rose in the field by the dark tower (this is probally too elaborate for anywhere but my shoulder though...)
a Rabbid (too new)
the Half life logo (could do...)

Of those, I'm thinking the red kilrathi symbol might be the coolest to do - maybe on my right calf on the rt lower side of my leg...
It works as being relevent to me - having nerd cred - and being obscure so you'd have to know it...
