Who knew trading a 4th Round pick for Randy Moss would be the end of the Pats?

It's the semi-annual quarterly update for LJ.  Sitting at the new job, listening to 'EEI discuss the end of the Patriots Dynasty because they traded for one of the best WR's to ever play the game.

So it's been a very, very long time since I wrote here.  Much has changed.  My 2 + year hiatus as a MA resident ended on 3/24/07.  Still sleeping on a couch, but I'll soon be living in Quincy with one of my cousins.  The job?   Challenging, but well within my capability.  Financially, its sorta insane.  Its such a great opportunity for me.  Its very weird being back in MA.  Feels like I never left in a lot of ways, but at the same time I'm constantly on the wayback nostalgia machine, bumping into all sorts of people I haven't seen in years.

The leadup to getting my current job (Verisign) was quite the process.  Had to 'explain myself' regarding some outstanding credit issues I had.  Had to drive from RI for like 3 interviews.  Was denied because of credit reasons, but then paid off an old debt for a total of less than $100 which resolved it.  Even if the process was a giant pain in the ass, I'm glad I'm here - I was in need of a new challenge.  At the same time, this job gives me the opportunity to do so much with my life that I couldn't even comprehend writing my weekly "Insider" column for the Halifax Reporter 2 1/2 years ago.  (That ironically being said, I do miss writing).

Well, ta ta for now...
