Nagin: 'They are spinning and people are dying'
I was unsure about this whole 'lack of response thing with the relief effort. Wasn't sure if it really was general knit-picking by people who don't like Bush. Then I listened to this. This 12 minute recording of the mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, angrily talking about the lack of response this past week. This man has no reason to be political at a time like this.
I'm not even really trying to prove some sort of partisan point by bringing this up. But if this was really the reaction time to something like this...then what the fuck.
