I did indeed! And the reason why the date sticks in my mind is because, the following day, I flew out for my first ever visit to the US. A long time ago.

It's lovely, as always, to hear from you, an occurrence that is all too infrequent these days. Which is a fact for which I more than share the blame, but nevertheless lament.
