He denounces creationism as a "kind of paganism" in which God is claimed to intervene in nature, avoiding scientific analysis and mimicking the thunder god myths of old.
He also has an interesting spin on papal infallibility, that it's merely a status as final authority on questions of faith here on earth, not a direct hotline to God's will. Is this Catholic doctrine?
