The pictures at the link below show some truly foul and disgusting torture. These are not pranks, or occasional hijinks, or mere humiliation. They are not some carefully-judged extreme measure to defuse a ticking bomb. They are damnable evil, aided and abetted by a chain of command that deliberately refused to set any moral limits. The Bush administration knew this, lied about it, and fought hard to hold onto this evidence and keep anyone from seeing it. The ACLU had to go to court to get the news out.
The pictures are bad. Really bad. If you look, you may not sleep well. Consider yourself warned.

There is more. These pictures were only a few of the few that could be pried out of the files at the Pentagon and the White House. Generals need to be courtmartialed for this. Politicians as well as privates need to be tried and convicted of these hideous crimes.
We need to scrub away this foulness from our country to defend the humanity of man.
