She got 50 hours of community service and a year of probation for...wearing a sweatshirt with a battery and LEDs. Nothing intended as a fake bomb, nothing likely to be mistaken for a bomb by anyone with a brain.
Airport security, if they absolutely had to check her out from an excess of caution, should have apologised and let her go.
The "War on Terror" needs to end. It has done more harm than good, and we are less free, less rich and less sane because of it.
