By your students you'll be taught (part II)
I finally finished grading exams last week, posted grades, all done with the Spring semester.
Over the weekend I prepped for Balticon, and had fun doing magnet experiments with the kids.
And today I checked my Towson email and found messages from some of my ex-students. Thanks and praise and good wishes.
Maybe I'm a better teacher than researcher. Or maybe I just get more of the constant affirmation I crave when I'm teaching, compared to slogging through months of writing a research paper. Either way, the teaching seems to be more fun.
