Top 10 TV Shows of '10: Number 8

Dec 02, 2010 10:33

I have a feeling that people who don't watch my number 8 show will scoff at its inclusion, but believe me when I tell you that it deserves to be on this list. Back me up, people in the know!

List So Far:

10. Spartacus: Blood and Sand
9. Lost

And now for something completely different... )

I'm surprised at how good it is. When it first started I thought it was uneventful, but I'm in love with the show now. & I like all of the characters, I don't even hate Caroline anymore. The writers are miracle workers.

Exactly! I gave up after 4 episodes or so initially, then caught up later on and was extremely impressed. Now it's just on fire. As for Caroline, she went from frustratingly useless to extremely compelling in the course of a couple episodes, which I never thought was possible.

I'm glad you've warmed to the joys of CW genre shows over the past year. Are you caught up on Vampire Diaries yet?

The show is a lot of fun, but I still miss Vicki terribly. She was an awesome character.

YEAH! So I just bought the first season on black friday, it was like 13 dollars at target!! and I am in looooove. I've only just finished the third disc, but oh man does it EVER move fast.

And, I think it's important to point out how amazed I was at the fact that Stefan is SO MUCH MORE attractive in motion than in pictures. Is that just a me thing?

I've heard equally good and bad things about this. On one hand, stuff like your comments; on the other hand, a lot of people compare it to Twilight. Is it really worth watching, or is it one of those shows were you have to acknowlege the camp and the innate overdrama?

It definitely started as a show where you have to acknowledge the camp and feel guilty for watching it, but I think it soon became legitimately great. And aside from having a vampire/human romance at its center, it's thankfully nothing like Twilight. For one thing it has tons of story to burn through every week, while Twilight seems to have no story at all.
