About a month ago, I went for a weekend visit to the north of Cornwall. I spent most of the day at Tintagel, in and around the old castle there, but I also visiting a small village just up the coast, for a spot of lunch. I parked my car in the small, 50 space carpark and then walked along the river to an pub near the harbour.
It seems hard to believe that the images on TV of the floods at Boscastle could be of the same place. From the pictures, it looks as though the place has been nearly destroyed by the water.
There are still 15 people missing. Hopefully, they will all be discovered safe and well.
