Another go.
I'm terrible at these things, I really am. Sometime after my last post on Livejournal, my HDD in my PC failed and I had to get a new one. This is the first time since then I've thought about Livejournal, as I've just had to reinstall Semagic onto this machine.
To be fair, though, there's been a fair amount going on in my life recently. Rhiannon is now 17 months old, we've been on holiday to Crete last month and we also moved house. Getting the house into some sort of order is much more difficult this time around. The last time we moved, we moved from a single room in my parents house into a 3 bedroom terraced house, so we had plenty of room to put our Stuff. This time, we've moved into a four bedroom semi. It's a bigger house, with 3 sheds and a decent loft and stuff, but still we're having trouble fitting everything in. Our large 4door wardrobe has already had to go, as it doesn't fit the shape of the bedroom in the same way that it did the old one, and other sacrifices and changes have been made on an almost daily basis.
The new house is good, though. Whilst we don't ourselves have a lawn, the back gate opens out onto a green space with a path leading down through the woods. Although 6 houses back onto this green, ours is the only one with a back gate onto it (which I find odd, to tell you the truth) although there is a footpath through it. This means that I get most of the benefits of having a large lawn (ie, the ability to play football on it) without having to cut the grass myself, as the council do it far more regularly than I ever would. We do have a good sized, and well designed, patio-and-decking garden for barbecues and outdoor toys.
