kim jong kook post ya'lllllllll. (part 1)
I'll confess, I am addicted to 김종국. He's like a happy virus (행복병 anyone?). Everytime I watch a video on him, or listen to a song sung by him, I get happy. I even giggle to myself -.-" (This is the fangirl part in me) I recently backtracked his Soompi thread & whoa, it's full of him & 윤은혜. Not that I hate them being together, but... her? I mean, sure, they were the perfect fantasy couple in X-Man, but that was then (& I mean, before he got enlisted into the military). He still gets asked about her now & then (You know, like on 패밀리가 떴다) If you actually bother (like me) to find the translation of the lyrics, you wouldnt be surprised to be reading such lovey-dovey lyrics. But to me, they're absolutely mind-kicking. I mean, I always think he's singing it to me x) Haha, it's so passionate yknow. I just want him to get married soon. His wife will be truly fortunate ^^ I dont know why I'm doing this post when it's 11:05pm here in Wellington & I need to go bathe & sleep for church tomorrow, but oh well, the fangirl in me is making me do it :P

행복병 has to be the first song. Shorry J from 마이티 마우스 raps in this, & I love the rapping (Oh, the lyrics above isnt the rap). Anyway, the song talks about how he (I'm assuming he's singing from his own point of view) is confessing his love to his "other one" & how thankful he is for "her" (whoever she is). Its pretty upbeat & it sorta reminds me of Christmas o_O GoiNicha made a KookRi fan video on YouTube & used this song, it's a perfect KookRi video, I swear! I know oppa sang this song at his concert too, it makes me think that he really appreciate his fans (How they stood by him even though he didn't tell them when he was enlisting).

어제보다 오늘더. I think when I first started my LiveJournal, I posted the whole lyrics up. Wow, I never knew that I'd become a (crazy) 김종국 fan x) Haha anyway, this is THE BEST MUSIC VIDEO EVARRRRR. I'm not sure if he won any awards for this, but I think he won once for MBC Music Core? I'll have to check that. Anyway, this song... Wow, it's just a killer. The song talks about how he'll love "his one" forever, & more as days/weeks/years/decades go by. By the way, do any of you notice 마이티 마우스 in this music video? :P I didnt know until today! I love the violin in the background though. What he did for the girl was so sweet <3 Haha I wish my (future) boyfriend would do that ;) But I think he can only do that if he's Korean, cuz I want him to sing the song too :D

이별의 정석. I also remember posting the lyrics on my LiveJournal about... 2 to 3 months ago? Anyway, this is a total WIN song. This is like... a drama soundtrack song! Totally ownage. Haha some people said it's perfect for a fight scene. This song is basically translated as "Break-up Formula" But honestly, it's no break-up formula. It's about how "she" (the ex, I suppose) should totally leave him since she already did, & not make him sad anymore. Like, he just doesnt wanna be reminded of her anymore. I have a feeling oppa's dedicating this to his ex-girlfriend, who cheated on him for one of his dancers (Turbo or solo days, I'm not too sure). But man, these lyrics are full of power.

고맙다. This is my all-time favourite song, & probably 2nd most favourite music video :D Haha this is like, the behind-the-scenes to oppa's recording in California last year. The pictures are in his 5th cd, but I requested all in the Soompi thread & I look at them on my laptop now & then :P haha, the lightbulb one I shared on Facebook is one of which is featured in the music video but not in the CD (Why not?!?!!?!?) Sigh, anyway this song is about him thanking her for being always there for him & how he'll never give her up. To be honest, his songs sorta revolve around the same thing (being thankful for "his one") but the lyrics are all different. (Well 이별의 정석 isnt about thankfulness though xD) I love the part where he sticks out his tongue while he's on the handphone :P
Aiight, I'll continue part 2 soon. Yes this is only one part... EHEHEHEHEH.
