The alarm went off at an unseemly hour of the morning, jolting the room full of boys awake. Kangin frowned and buried his face into his pillow, which wasn’t really a pillow at all, but Eeteuk's hair.
"Kangin-ah, Kangin, you're smushing me," Eeteuk said, struggling, but Kangin had him in a death grip. "I need to get up, I have to make sure everyone gets up, we have a busy schedule today."
"Five more minutes..." Kangin mumbled. Getting up didn't sound like a good idea at all. It was too early, the bed was warm, he was having no part of it.
Someone got up and turned off the alarm and Eeteuk attempted to get his head up so he could see who it was. "Eunhyuk!"
Eunhyuk stood there rubbing his eyes and adjusting his pajamas. "Morning, Angel, sleep well?"
Eeteuk glared at him. "Help me, please." Eunhyuk grinned. "I know just the thing, hyung. I'll be right back."
Eeteuk finally stopped wiggling, and Kangin was almost back asleep when he felt something pulling on the blanket, and all of the sudden, COLD. He leapt out of the bed, screaming.
"WHAT THE $&#@%!!!"
He jumped around until several ice cubes fell out of his pajamas. Eunhyuk and Donghae were laughing hysterically, but when they saw Kangin's face (scary!) they both turned and ran for their lives. Kangin raced after them. "You'd better run, Hyukjae!!! Donghae, you're dead!"
Donghae and Eunyhuk ran screaming down the hallway, nearly running over Sungmin. They threw themselves into the bathroom, slammed the door, locked it, and collapsed on the ground, laughing hysterically. Donghae landed half on top of Eunyhuk.
Kangin stood outside the bathroom door, pounding on it and screaming, "Come out and take it like a man! You two can't stay in there forever! Wait till I get my hands on you!"
They kept laughing until they ran out of breath, and then they continued to lie there, catching their breath. Finally, Eunyhuk said, "Whatever, I need to take a shower anyway." Donghae, who was still all over Eunhyuk, looked down at him, blushed, and struggled to his feet awkwardly. "Err, I should go anyway, I need to get dressed."
"Wait!" Eunhyuk exclaimed grabbing his leg, "Kangin's still out there! It’s not safe. I won't let you go." He dramatically put a hand to his forehead, and sighed, "Oh whatever would I do if something happened to you?"
Donghae laughed, "Avenge my death, of course. Now let go of my leg."
"No!" Eunhyuk pouted and tugged on Donghae's leg, pulling him to the ground.
"Hyuk, what are you doing?" Donghae asked.
"Protecting you."
Donghae rolled his eyes.
"I'll always protect you, Hae..." Eunhyuk whispered.
