Jonghyuk was known for his fanservice. Everyone in Click-B was friendly with each other, almost excessively so. But Jonghyuk took it farther, hugging and kissing on everyone, both on and off camera.
The fans ate it up. And no one seemed to mind, usually reciprocating with smiles and hugs of their own.
...Jonghyuk was just glad. That no one noticed that with one member, it wasn't fanservice.
It was genuine.

Jonghyuk was enamored with him. The way he moved, the way he spoke, the way he laughed and smiled and sang and breathed.
Something about it... Jonghyuk couldn't get enough.
But he was more afraid of his secret being revealed than of anything in the world.
So he hid his sexual orientation with the occasional girlfriend, and he hid the slip-ups, the times when he just couldn't keep his hands off of Yunseok any longer, by hanging on the other members as well.
So he came to be known as the member who did the most fanservice. Which was fine. It helped with his popularity too. Which... he'd rather be known for his voice, but... a little popularity couldn't hurt.

As time passed, Jonghyuk watched Click-B drop in numbers. Minhyuk, Hyungon, Hoseok...
And as every member was lost, off on an adventure of their own, so was every member that he hid his affection behind, and he could feel his grasp on Yunseok slipping. Slipping...
Please don't leave me.
He didn't. But Click-B slowly faded away anyway, and Jonghyuk no longer had a reason for the casual touches and hugs that he'd grown to rely on. He went from living to Yunseok, seeing him all the time, to being lucky to see him once a week. He missed him.
And he didn't know, but someone missed him too.

"When Taehyung and Hyungon come back from the military, we're going to have a reunion. Release another CD."
It was the best news Jonghyuk had ever heard.
"Hyung..." Jonghyuk breathed into the phone.
Yunseok smiled at the other end. "You sound happy."
"I am." Jonghyuk couldn't hide the excitement in his voice. "I really am."
"Me too. Do you know why?"
"...Why?"
"Because Jonggie… I'll be with you."
