I'm now three months into my job and I'm liking it a lot.
They have me working the 11:45pm-8:15am shift; which kinda sucks because I'm living the vampire's life, but it's also really slow.
I made my first arrest a couple of weeks ago. This guy accused his wife of cheating on him, so he decides to start hitting her. The 11 yr old son hops in to protect his mom and he gets slapped as well. We arrive and I arrest the scumbag and charge him with 2 counts of simple battery and one charge of cruelty to children. He was NOT a happy camper when I came back to the jail to serve him his warrant.
