Really nice Thanksgiving weekend
On Thursday, we arrived home just in time for dinner, stuffing (pun intended) ourselves silly with delicious home-cooked food (turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, carrots, green beans, stuffing, rolls, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, egg custard pie, orange cake, banana nut bread, and brownies)! ^^ On Friday, we went shopping (BJ's, Macy's, Sam's, Wal-Mart, Staples, and Target), and I'm ridiculously excited that we finally bought Lego Batman for DS! XD On Saturday, I hung out with Sara (and Amanda for a little while) at their house before having lots of fun browsing the Dusty Rose Antique Shop (I bought a cute, wooden?, miniature Buddha for only $1!), and then we met with Rachel at David's for dinner. :D On Sunday, after Mom gave us even more food (fresh baked bread, cauliflower, beef backribs, steak, and omg roast duck!), we drove back to G-ville, where I immediately fell sick. xP But I feel better today, so I think it's only a passing cold. -_-;
Anyway, it was lovely spending time bonding with the family and going out with friends. Made me feel "alive" again (even though I felt pretty awful last night). I'm grateful for the people around me. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving, too. =)
