Tropical Storm Fay will be here in a day or two (if it ever moves its super slow butt away from my hometown! DX), so I figured I better LJ as much as possible before my power is knocked out. -_-
Okay, okay, so "NEXUS 4" is slowly growing on me. =P When I first heard the Subaru CM clip, I already felt the melody was... kinda weird. =/ And then the radio rip didn't impress me; in fact, I found the song a little grating. (SHAME ON ME, I know.) Well, now the PV is out, and I'm liking it a bit more. It's still not a fav by far, but I guess the low quality audio didn't help. XD'
Anyway, the "NEXUS 4" PV is relatively plain but still cool. It looks like a regular performance vid, just one set, but L'Arc are on the top of what looks like a really tall building, with hyde, tetsu, and ken on the edge of the ledge, bouncing, twirling, and dancing. =O I was convinced it was green screen because, obviously it's too dangerous, and also the background sky looked fake. >_>' But then in the middle of the PV, they suddenly show some "making-of" footage of the shoot, and hyde, tetsu, and ken are all hooked up to wires on the roof. @_@? So what I want to know is: IS IT REAL? A lot of people also think it looks fake, but then others say there was an actual news report about their suicidal shoot. 0_o (Either way, I was totally expecting tetsu to throw himself off the building, as is PV tradition, and was terribly disappointed when he didn't. XDD)
Still say that "SHINE" >>>>> "NEXUS 4"! I am still squeeing about the "SHINE" PV! <3<3<3 All those gorgeous tetsu moments! *_*
PS - I found this lovely live performance of Younha singing "The Moon Represents My Heart", the Teresa Teng classic. It's one of my favorite Chinese songs. ^_^
PSS - The more I read of the Ouran manga, the more I HATE TAMAKI. >< I liked him in the anime (I was even a Tamaki/Haruhi shipper before I converted completely to Kyouya/Haruhi), and the performance was perfect... but reading all these chapters of Tamaki being stupid, whiny, clueless, childish, delusional, and stalkerish just annoys me to no end. XP I fully admit my bias for Kyouya (omgsqueelove), but I can't believe how much I am hating Tamaki now. *sigh* Worst of all, it's obvious that Tamaki and Haruhi are the hero and heroine who will end up together. *facepalm*
