Now, onto the semi-rant: Does this sports column piece ("Yao has delivered, now it's China's turn.") bother anyone else? I found the tone so morally superior and misrepresenting that I sent in an indignant comment. I mean, the writer basically said, "Yao has fulfilled his obligation to China, and since China is not repaying him, he needs to be selfish and tell them 'enough is enough.'" WTF?! He made it sound like China was training Yao Ming to death and that Yao only played for China's team to tell them that his duty was done. I wrote that China loves Yao, and he clearly loves his home country and is very proud, honored, and happy to represent his 1.3 billion people. XO What that columnist said was disrespectful to China and Yao. XPPP
