Mom's letting me stay here at home for a couple of weeks longer yay.  =)  I'm glad I will be able to be here for Nettuno's birthday (but I do miss you, Maggie XD).  I was going to apply for a job at Marshall's, but apparently, they're not hiring, just accepting applications.  =P  I haven't been job-hunting as much as I should have, I admit.  I'm still mooching off of my parents.  Meanwhile, Dad just bought me a beginner's acoustic guitar (I didn't ask for it; it was a surprise), and Mom bought me a beautiful amethyst and diamond pendant that I saw on sale at Macy's!  <3  I'm so spoiled.  ^^;

Lupe (the bull dog) has grown on me quite a lot.  XD'  For the first few weeks, I refused to touch her, but over the past couple of months, I've been helping Rachel take care of her.  And boy, does she need a lot of care!  She's such a troublesome dog!  XP  But I can't help but kinda love her now.  *sigh*  Especially when she puts on her (literal) puppy dog eyes and makes herself look all small and cute and does adorably pathetic whining noises when she wants to come inside.  *heart clutch*  I can't take it!  XD
ETA:  Oh, man.  The first fire cracker of the evening just went off from another neighborhood, and Lupe immediately barked and ran around.  It wasn't even that close or loud.  She's going to be going crazy tonight when the real fireworks begin!  =O  Too bad, we're leaving her alone to go over to someone's house for dinner.  ^^;

We just watched Amazing Grace, and I loved it.  It's a wonderful movie about William Wilberforce's work to abolish slavery in Britain and has superb (British) acting, directing, and score.  I cried a little a few times and a lot at the end <3.  (Big surprsie there, I know, Maggie.  XPPP)  It was not just a typical period piece, but also a great contemporary film with issues still relevant today.  I highly recommend it to everyone.  =D

Ooh, and I just heard VAMP's c/w, "Time Goes By."  It's pretty good!  I actually like this one!  Unlike, the single "LOVE ADDICT," I was more than a little impressed when I listened to it and pleasantly surprised to learn that VAMPS will have more variety in their sound.  (Have I redeemed myself by now, hydeist friends?  T_T)  I also think this song sounds better because Hyde is singing in Japanese, too, instead of all engrish.  XD  (Oops!  There they go again. ;)
Happy Independence Day!
