The Sony Bravia commercial is fuckin' gorgeous.
Makes me wanna download some Jose Gonzalez.
UFC was kinda disappointing. The Ortiz-Shamrock rematch ended too quickly. Ortiz did land 4-5 vicious, unanswered elbows to Shamrock's head, ending the fight in 1:15. Las Vegas Police had to run into the ring to prevent the two from killing each other after the fight ended. Haha. But hey, there's a good chance ther'll be another fight between the two.
The other main bout between Silvia and Arlovski was disappointing. Not enough action. I mean I can understand why: It was their 3rd face-off with a win each for both fighters in the previous fight. Both fighters know each other very well and because of that, they're very conservatice in their fighting and just kept the majority of the fight standing up. Arlovski's advantage against Silvia is his ground-game, but any take-down attempts would leave him vulnerable to haymakers by Silvia. The fight went 25 minutes, with a judges' decision going to Silvia. Very anticlimactic for both fighters, they didn't fight as best as they could've but seeing the circumstances, it's understandable for them to be so hesitant. Next heavyweight bout will be Tim Silvia vs. Jeff "The Snowman" Bronson. That guy's fuckin' intimidating, not to mention liberal! Yes, ass-kicking liberals do exist out there in the world.
But the one thing that made the entire night ALMOST worth the $40 was the announcement of Pride's Wanderlei Silva fighting Chuck Liddell in November. HOLY FUCK!
