Yay the semester is almost done!
It feels done because nothing seems as stressful as the poster presentation I did this morning of my bridge design.
Three days of class left but the only thing left to hand in is a really small weekly problem set on Monday...which was made really small to account for the fact that usually there a bunch of other things due in the last few days....but this year everything was due tuesday, yesterday and today...leaving us with a whole weekend to do a half hour assignment...
Then I have four exams, and the final report to write for my bridge design (which isn't due till the 19th, though I intended to do it this coming week and a half or so)...which in a way I already have written in my head, I just need to put it on paper...and significant portions are just adding more info to what I wrote for the interim report (which we are indeed allowed, and in fact supposed to do)...and I also need to do construction sequence drawings for both of my bridges.
Though I am still bitter my last exam isn't until the 21st...
I just got an amusing email from one of the people at the Engsci office...She emailed us to tell us that "We were probably wondering why an Option lunch hadn't been scheduled for Infra, and it was because they couldn't find a time that fit into our class schedule and our option chair's schedule...and since we see our chair every other week anyway for Praxis, they would schedule a lunch in the winter semester"
It's amusing because we had no idea that other options were having option lunches and because she sounded a bit defensive in the "we haven't forgotten about you" sense, which probably stems from the fact that she did forget about us in the beginning of the year while figuring out how the praxis course for each option would work
and MORE SNOW!!..it looks like a blizzard outside my window, but I can see it's melting as soon as it hits the wet sidewalk...
