One last plug

Tomorrow is a day for Democrats to make a choice. Everyone here knows I support Barack Obama. I do not agree with him on everything, and it would be impossible to find a politician, or human who I would :-) But people have asked me why I support him so much, and I think beyond his policies, or speeches, it is a quote on his website "I'm asking you to believe. Not just my ability to bring about real change in Washington...I'm asking you to believe in yours"

I, like much of my generation, have grown cynical over politics, but I have truly been amazed at how many people, without being "rigged" by the politicians have spontaneously worked to support this man. The summary of this is expressed in a music video "Yes We Can". My cynical side at first thought it was just a politician trying to "connect" with young voters, but I listened to it, and I was inspired, and then I researched it, and found that Barack's campaign didn't create it, although they are now using it. It was made by Americans, just like me and you, to support something beyond a candidate, to support the American dream that YES WE CAN have a better tomorrow, and that we can come together as the United States of America.

If Barack can bring together disparate people to support him from Paul Volcker to Teddy Kennedy, from Oprah Winfrey to Maria Shriver, from the Black Eyed Peas to the Grateful Dead, I think he can bring together our nation. Please vote tomorrow, and I hope sincerely you will vote for Barack Obama.
