(no subject)
so i am like way so out of it. i really should change that. i was thinking about lj ... i think i used it a lot for entertainment/brain dumping/self-fulfilling prophesying when i was bored/sad/hated my job. which was most of 2003-2005. and then i sort of snapped out of some things and stopped needing it as much. and then i got a new job which changed my life, kinda, and i started doing self-fulfilling prophesying out loud to friends in real life instead of friends in real life/livejournal/etc.
but, in truth, i miss the journaling aspect. thus, i think i will begin journaling again, even if it is just to post a pic or say today was good or selah puked or wendy had a bad dream or the coffee this morning was delicious. somehow, i am once again craving the structure, though for different reasons. so we'll see if i stick to it.
in other news:
•i have the cutest nieces in all the land. charlotte, 5, is too smart for her own good, and polite beyond belief. kristen, 4 months, is a chicken-legged shrimp of a thing who can't seem to gain weight but has spectacular blue eyes like her daddy and is giggling and rolling over. they make me want to have a kiddo, but, wow, really?
•wilson and selah the wonder dog are going to do training to go to nursing homes and hospitals and do dog/person therapy. this is the most excellent idea i had in 2007 so far. it's perfect! selah is only 3 and already the best-behaved dog i know. and wilson loves volunteering with animals (previously she has worked at eaglemount doing horse-riding therapy for physically challenged kids), so this is a super fit. even the vet concurs. yay!
