My first SCA event this weekend. It's pretty exciting, but as usual, I haven't prepared much for the event, so it's less exciting that it should be. Y'know when it's Christmas season and you haven't gotten any of your shit together, so when it actually come around, you haven't been anticipating it at all? And as we all know, the anticipation is usually greater than the event itself. So if you don't have anticipation, what's left? Not a whole lot (except for a couple of pairs of socks, a turkey, and maybe some hot cocoa). Well, things should turn out for the best anyways; don't they usually?
