I feel like a few people have been posting recently, so I figured I might as well do the same.
Basically, my life after college has somehow all fallen into place. Which is amazing, because 4 months ago I was freaking out because I had no direction in life and didn't have a clue what I would be doing come fall. My temporary job turned into an actual permanent job. My boss likes me, I like him, I like most of the people I work with, and for the most part I enjoy what I'm doing. A big part of what I do has to do with accounting. Which is funny because I always despised math. But I actually enjoy it now. School work always was better and made more sense when it was applied.
But a permanent job means I have health insurance (yay!) and enough money to move out of the house. (Double yay!) So my most wonderful boyfriend and I are moving in together at the end of October. We just got officially offered the apartment today and I'm so excited. It's small, but it will be our own, and I'm so excited to be on my own and responsible for me. Now it's just going out and buying all the stuff we still need for it like a kitchen table and a couch. But we did get an awesome George Foreman on clearance and a "crack down" microwave. And that one comes with an awesome story.
I'm so excited about taking this step. I don't hate living at home, but I'm just ready to be out and on my own. And it's just a huge bonus to be doing it with John. I love him so much and getting to come home to him at the end of every day will make the days even better.
So I've become an adult. lol. It's awesome, and at the same time it's hard working full time. Because I don't get to see a lot of the people that I want to that often. Aside from our schedules being different, I'm just so exhausted at the end of the day. I want to just crash. And now I live for the weekends. There's nothing better than leaving work friday afternoon with a whole two days of freedom staring you in the face. Welcome to the rest of my life! :)
