1] Just outside of the crumbling ruins of a once great city a striking woman with short black hair sit on top of a steamer trunk in the sunshine. Her legs are crossed at the knees, the cutaway of her skirt giving you a lovely view of milk white thighs as she bounces her toes and smoked fragrant herb from a pipe. She holds out her thumbs to any

"Pro tip, that cute and naive act get's old, real fast." Eleanor rolled to her feet and tossed her head a little, her short raven locks warping around her face properly. She didn't say it with spite in her voice, more like a stern reminder than an attack.
She pulled on her tank top, and snapped her skirt up, and shook it out before stepping into it and sitting back down to don her stockings.
"At least tone it down when your around me. You don't have to sell your shtick to me, honey."

"Oh... uhm... you'd totally know when I was trying to put on an act! I'm okay with girls and all but... I like guys more." she smiles, watching Eleanor gets dressed.

"Uhhhggg." They where like polar opposite and yet teammates.
Eleanor rolled her eyes, Someday she'll learn. After all I started out the same way. Well maybe not quite that cookie cutter, or blond, but whatever.
After the stocking she strapped on her boots, knee high and covered in buckles, seemed strange attire for a trip to the beach. And from a hidden pocket in her boots she pulled out a small wooden box, that opened to reveal a long thing pipe and a small container of green herb. She shoved a bit of the plant matter into the pipe's bowl and pulled out her lighter. With out regard she lit it and breathed deeply from it.
"So then you're this," annoying "Effervescent all the time? And you don't do drugs?"

She wasn't the first person to condescend to her, you know, considering how much of a bitch other high school girls can be. "I'd rather be bubbly then all angry or stressed out like most girls my age anyway. Besides, wouldn't you prefer someone friendly as a partner, than some stuck-up super-nerd snob?"
And yet, she knows how to be a bit of a bitch too!

"Not quite the words I would have chosen," Eleanor tipped her head to the side as she exhaled fragrant smoke through her nose and into the ocean breeze. "But, sure, whatever. Yeah." Eleanor had seen enough girls just like to know they never lasted. Innocents was only a farce in the sex industry, how Lily had survived with it so intact baffled Eleanor. Perhaps part of her was a little jealous, of Lily's youth and easy way of thinking, Eleanor has seen to much, been to to many places to live life with that much enthusiasm and optimism.
"At least I don't have to worry about you borrowing my boots without asking. Somehow I don't see your a patent leather platform boot kind of a girl."

But now she had the idea in her head. "Platform boots though... I'd seen a few girls wear those before. Thy look hard to walk in. Are they?"

"Like anything in the world, it take practice, honey. Practice and talent. And as much as I know you're going to annoy the crap out of me, I can't deny you've got the later down pat." Eleanore sighed in defeat, they where stuck together now, for better or for worse. "And the bigger the shoe the more money you'll make, I guarantee it." Even sitting here, beside her mech, with her new partner, Eleanor was still caught up in Desdemona's world.

"But yeah, hopefully we'll get along great. I don't know how much this 'mecha piloting' business pays but... at least we'll get to do all kinds of shopping all over the world, right?" Surely they can bond over that, right? Shopping? Fashion? Dressing up all sexy?

"You didn't ask how much we where getting paid either did you?" Eleanor frowned, at the situation not at Lily. "I was so excited to get out of the cat house I forgot to get it in writing. But my savings are pretty plush, I can't remember the last time I bought something that wasn't for work." She took another drag from her pipe, "Well, aside from this little habit anyways." She leaned back on her hands. "I've been alot of places, and I've seen another of things, but I've never seen a outlet mall I didn't like."
