1. It's a hopeless battle. Caught by surprise, you've been outnumbered and outmatched at every turn. This wave of enemies is only one step away from delivering the decisive blow to the White Chalice and you, its pilots, when suddenly...!

[@1: Sora, almost more than the other pilots, knew they were in trouble, and the despair was affecting Desu Itsuki rather strongly. So this miraculous save was timely.]

Such power...! Is this really the strength of a mobile suit...? [She keys her radio.] Unknown pilot, we thank you for your aid; I'm not what we'd have done otherwise. Give us a moment to regroup and we'll be right behind you!

Do take your time.

[The Granzon splits a few enemy units in two with a swing of its Granworm Sword, giving the Chalice fighters some room to breathe.

Meanwhile, the pilot continues to speak, his interest piqued by the Desu Itsuki. Yes, he'd fought something similar before - along with a bunch of other machines - while their sides opposed each other.]

However, this is unexpected. Yet another Fairy Park machine with the White Chalice; the Divine Crusaders' reports must be out of date.

The Divine Crusaders... wait, then if it's that unit... [She's done her homework, mostly to keep her girls safe.] Then you're Shu Shirakawa!?

Not that I dislike the help, but why save us? Won't the DC benefit if we're out of the picture?

[Shu chuckles in response.]

A specific request by Dr. Zoldark. Unnecessary as it seems, I can see his reasons for it, which is why I've agreed to play along.

Rest assured. This will benefit both our parties.

[A shell comes flying in from well beyond Shu; Sora sees it coming, though the doctor doesn't seem to notice either because he doesn't see it, or it isn't big enough for him to care.] Itsuki Aegis! [A yellow, almost sunflower-shaped shield appears in front of her, and she struggles to hold the projectile back before pushing with a roar, sending the explosive back from whence it came.]

I'll take your word for it, Dr. Shirakawa. Girls, we can't stay here! The good doctor's kindly offered to clear a path for us, let's not waste the opportunity! [And she takes point, her team charging into the gap Shu's opened, likely as he opens it with his usual obscene power.]

[Shu was about to redirect that shell via a wormhole, but he refrains from doing so after noting that the Desu Itsuki had jumped to the rescue. Surprisingly, he actually welcomes the help, finding it amusing.]

Then consider this repayment for your gesture as well.

[The Granzon brings up its right hand, waving it to conjure up a series of ring-like wormholes lined straight through the enemies. Of course, these are positioned precisely to avoid the path of the advancing girls.]

Distorion...

[And then, a brief golden glow precedes the firing of the Granzon's chest cannon! The beam's trajectory? Straight through those wormholes. With each wormhole the beam passes through, it seems to grow in power, tearing apart any foes unfortunate enough to be caught in its wake, until finally...it smashes straight into an enemy ship!]

Break.

[On cue, the ship erupts into a massive fireball that accompanies the many smaller ones around it. Obscene power indeed. That should be more than enough of an opening for the Desus to take advantage of...]
